Welcome to foundational Art
Art is everywhere; it affects everyone (even you) everyday! This is why it is important to understand art. When you understand art you understand why and how it affects you! In today’s world the ability to use the right side of your brain and creatively solve problems is a skill that will take you far. In this class we will explore and study creative minds throughout history and today. We will learn how to tap into our creative side, solve problems and create art as well as learn why art is important in our world and how people create art. We will learn the language of art, which means how to; look at, analyze, critique, find meaning in and talk about works of art. You will be given the opportunity to explore different mediums and learn how to manipulate them to create your own art.
